Steered Right Retrievers breeds for intelligence, trainability, physical soundness, desire, marking ability, and good all-around attitude that can do the work and then come back home to be a valued member of the family. Our concept is to produce offspring that not only can win Field Trials and compete in Hunt Tests but are pleasing to the eye and satisfying to the discerning sportsman. 

Our program is geared toward quality, not quantity. It all begins with the genetics and ends with training. Raising puppies takes time and tons of attention. It begins with the breeding, the daily care of each female until whelping time. Socialization of each litter begins immediately.
